Misty Universe

Animals are not my strong point so I decided to practice a little. I really love drawing wolves. They're so elegant but powerful creatures and above all else, they have no fear, at least, when you look at them. My sister, has inspired me to work on my animals time and time again. Her ability to create emotion and personality into her work is absolutely amazing. And her ability to capture what matters is also something that I envy.

In creating this I kept thinking back on the white wolf in Balto and how it symbolized strength and resilience to the world around it. The background was interesting to create. I had no idea what I was going to do. At first I was simply going to put a few pebbles but then it turned into glowing pebbles/shells/ripples and then I wanted stars and mist!
